What this policy covers

AgriSensa is a plant and crop assistant: you photograph a plant, an AI vision model identifies it and checks for disease, and the app builds a care schedule with watering reminders. This page explains what the app does with the information involved in that flow.

Information the app handles

• Account details. If you sign in with email or Google, your email address and display name are stored so your garden follows you between devices.
• Plant photos and scan results. A photo you capture or upload is sent to our AI provider to be analysed, and the identification, health assessment and care guide are saved with the plant in your collection.
• Your garden and reminders. The plants you save, their care schedules and the tasks you complete are stored against your account.
• Location. Planting guidance depends on climate, so the app needs a city. You can pick one from the list, or allow the browser location prompt — in that case your coordinates are used on your device to find the nearest supported city or climate zone, and only that city and zone are saved.
• Scan activity. Basic records of scans (when they happened and whether they succeeded) are kept so the service can be monitored and abuse prevented.

What stays on your device

Notification permission, the daily reminder digest and your interface preferences are handled by the browser on your device. Reminder notifications are generated locally — the contents of a reminder are not sent anywhere to be delivered.

Camera and notifications

The camera is only opened when you start a scan, and the browser asks for permission first. Notifications are only sent after you enable them; you can withdraw either permission in your browser or system settings at any time, and the rest of the app keeps working.

Sharing

Photos are shared with the AI provider that performs identification and diagnosis, and app data is held by the hosting and database platform that runs AgriSensa. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for advertising.

Retention and deletion

Your garden, scans and reminders are kept while your account exists. You can delete individual plants at any time from the plant screen. Deleting your account removes the plants, schedules and scan records attached to it.

Children

AgriSensa is intended for growers and is not directed at children.

Changes

If how the app handles information changes, this page is updated. Continuing to use AgriSensa after an update means the current version applies.
